We have so many reasons to celebrate, but sometimes our hopes and expectations are so high that it is hard to do. I started Celebrate Well in 2016 after moving to Corvallis and having surgery for my health problem. It was one of the lowest points in my life. Yet on that hospital bed, with so much that wasn’t going my way, I was grateful that I still had a life to live and family and friends to love. While recovering in the hospital, I felt called to start a photography business. I had started getting into photography after my first of my two children was born, and used it only for myself and my friends. But, three months later, Celebrate Well was born.

My goal with photography now is to help others capture some of the many moments in their life worth celebrating. My hope is that the photos I take for you will help you remember what you have and cherish the moments that are so often easy to forget in the middle of difficult but beautiful things. When I’m not behind my camera documenting precious moments, I’m often making my own memories with my husband and two children. We enjoy coast camping in the summer, and skiing in the winter. I love a good game of tennis and gardening. Most of my family lives in Japan, and I frequently travel back to visit them.
